The LeBlanc clan is no stranger to crime and its ugly effects for all parties involved. In reporting on LeBlanc related crime occurrences I attempt to avoid shining light on the criminals themselves and their alleged heinous acts.



Valerie LeBlanc, Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, 23 August 2011 – Valérie Leblanc's body was found in the woods west of the Cégep de l'Outaouais in the Hull Sector. Since then, the Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) has been unrelenting in its search for the person(s) responsible for this heinous crime which shocked the entire Gatineau community.

Michel LeBlanc, Port Hope, Ontario, Canada, 24 September 2009 – Ms. Andrus, 53, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the bludgeoning death of her common-law husband Michel Leblanc, whose body was found by his teenaged son in their Pochon Avenue home. Initially charged with first-degree murder, Ms. Andrus admitted to repeatedly hitting the sleeping man, then trying to pass off the crime as a robbery gone wrong.


Marquis LeBlanc, Los Angeles, Califonia, USA, 17 April 2009 – Marquis was an 18-year-old man who was killed during a party held in a Hispanic gang’s territory in Pomona. The gang was known for its hatred of African-Americans. Mr. LeBlanc was chased by about 20 indviduals who viciously assaulted Mr. LeBlanc by beating him unconscious, fatally stabbing, and then shooting him.


Alexander "Sandy" LeBlanc, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 20 September 1978 – Nightclub manager, Alexander (Sandy) Romeo LeBlanc, 29, was found stabbed and beaten by friends in his apartment at 16 St. Joseph Court. His home was near Studio II, a disco he ran in the Gay Village. LeBlanc’s killing remains one of seven unsolved murders of men connected to the Gay Village from 1975 to 1978, according to police cold case files and media reports.


Agapit LeBlanc, Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Canada 20 October 1926 – 39 year old Fisheries Officer Agapit Leblanc was reported missing while investigating a claim of illegal fishing on the coast of New Brunswick. His body was located, weighed down in 8 feet of water, 4 days later. He had suffered a beating and he had been shot. This case remains unsolved. He was survived by his wife Anna, and their 3 year old son Joseph. On July 9, 2015 The Canadian Coast guard dedicated one of their patrol vessels to Leblanc, naming it "CCDS A. Leblanc".


Marc LeBlanc, Altkirch, France 10 June 2016 – 21 year old Sabrina Hirtz was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the stabbing death of her 32 year old partner Marc Leblanc. The death followed a stab wound in the chest, an artery was severed, leading to his death very quickly. The scene took place in the kitchen of the apartment. The couple had been living together for less than a year. It was neighbors alerted by the screams who called for help.

George Leon LeBlanc (Convicted with violation of White slave act), Atlanta, Gerogia, USA, October 1921 – Parole violation for same violation after having been paroled early from first offence (Human trafficking).


Hattie LeBlanc (Indicted on Murder - Aquitted), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA, 20 November 1909 –


Warren LeBlanc (convicted of Murder), Leicester, Gran Bretaña, England 27 February 2004 – was the murderer and former friend of 14 year old Stefan Pakeerah. It was said that he had killed Stefan by stabbing him with a claw hammer, a method of execution identical to that shown in the video game Manhunt. Stefan's mother Giselle Pakeerah claimed that Leblanc had been 'obsessed' with the game, after Leblanc pleaded guilty in court. The police denied any such link between the game and the murder however, citing drug-related robbery as the motive.
Paroled in 2020.


Joseph LeBlanc - (Convicted of Murder), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, 21 July 1893 – John Wilson was killed by Joseph Leblanc. The motive was reported as robbery. The trial took place on October 31st, 1893 in the Court of Assizes in Winnipeg with Judge Taylor residing. There was a recommendation of mercy from the jury but Leblanc was sentenced to hang on December 15th, 1893.

By order of the court on December 9th, 1893, Leblanc's sentence was commuted to 15 years imprisonment (or life) at the Stony Mountain Penitentiary.


Antoine LeBlanc - (Convicted of Murder), Morristown, New Jersey, USA, 11 May 1833 – Antoine, a French immigrant traveled to New York in 1833 and acquired employment with the Sayre family. There was an apparent wage dispute and Antoine ended up in the gallows after murdering the Sayre family. Antoine was so dispised, that after the hanging, his body was subject to interference with some unique practices.
